Cadence is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your workout data belongs to you and only you.
Data Collection
Cadence does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All your workout data is stored locally on your device.
What We Don't Do
- We don't require an account or login
- We don't collect personal information
- We don't track your location
- We don't use analytics or tracking services
- We don't sell or share any data (because we don't have any)
Local Storage
Your workout sessions, goals, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data is included in your device backups if you have iCloud or local backups enabled.
Home Screen Widgets
Cadence offers home screen widgets that display your workout progress. This data is shared only between the main app and the widget extension on your device using secure App Groups — it never leaves your device.
Anonymous Analytics
Cadence uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. This helps us understand which features are used and improve the app.
- No personal information is collected
- No device identifiers that could identify you
- Data cannot be linked back to individual users
- TelemetryDeck is a privacy-first analytics provider based in the EU
Third-Party Services
Other than TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics, Cadence does not integrate with any advertising or tracking services.
